Factory finishes change the rules
Appliances can combine brushed stainless, fingerprint-resistant clear coats, painted metal, plastic trim and glass-ceramic panels. A cleaner that is acceptable on conventional stainless may be wrong for a coated door. A scraper procedure intended for a cooktop should not migrate to a refrigerator finish.
Identify the appliance model and finish whenever possible, follow grain direction on brushed metal, keep liquids out of controls and seams, and stop if coating or color transfers to the cloth. SurfaceFixLab treats factory-finish preservation as part of the repair, not as a cosmetic afterthought.
