Surface and product variation
Materials, coatings, sealers, finishes, dyes and manufacturer formulations vary. A method that is appropriate for one surface may damage another. Always identify the material, read product and manufacturer instructions, test unfamiliar methods in a small inconspicuous area, and stop if color, gloss, texture, coating or the substrate changes.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for deciding whether a method or product is appropriate for your property and circumstances.
